About one and a half years ago, Keanu Reeves’s exclusive watches got stolen from his Hollywood Hills mansion in Los Angeles. The thieves stole a total of 6 watches worth over 125 thousand dollars. The most special of the six was a Rolex costing nearly 10 thousand dollars.
But the story took a turn for the better as the pieces are going back to their rightful owner thanks to the Chilean police in Santiago. The officials have tracked a group of burglars targeting homes of high-profile celebrities, especially Hollywood actors and actresses. Among other stolen items (not from Keanu, but from other celebrities) were custom rings and other jewelry pieces, PCs, laptops, specially designed accessories, and even cars.
Keanu expressed his deepest gratitude to the officers who were able to retrieve the jewelry from the thieves. They actually gave the found items to the FBI, which is now in the process of returning the actor’s belongings. The police and FBI collaborated during past several months on seizing a famous South American gang that had already committed several similar burglaries in the houses of celebrities.
It seems like the burglary at Keanu’s wasn’t destined to be a new notch on the gang’s belt, but rather a case that led to revealing some very important details about the criminals. Of course, the officials aren’t revealing the names of the gang members just yet, as multiple similar burglary cases are under investigation.
Meanwhile, another famous criminal case involving a person from Chile happened to Kristi Noem, who is working with Trump’s administration. One bright sunny day, out of nowhere, a thief took her pocketbook in a restaurant in the capital of the U.S.
