There is no doubt that the impact of AI tools on various spheres is huge, and the jewelry industry is also experiencing its revolutionizing potential. AI can be present at many stages, from boosting production to optimizing customers’ journeys. Integrating AI technologies into the sphere of jewelry making has become an important topic, and a seminar organized by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) definitely proves this point.
AI design, the hottest topic in the global jewelry business, was discussed at the first “Artificial Intelligence in the Jewellery Industry” session presided by Mr. Vijay Mangukiya, the Regional Chairman – Gujarat. He outlined the main points of GJEPC’s export procedures and activities.
The event included a live demonstration of creating innovative designs with the help of AI technology presented by AI expert Mr. Hardik Prajapati. The process was a powerful illustration of how cutting-edge technologies can impact and transform jewelry design.
Mr. Aagam Shah, who specializes in AI augmented reality, displayed an online store for the audience. This experience allowed the participants to get an understanding of how virtual shopping can closely imitate reality through a live AR demo.
The closing presentation, made by Mr. Malcom Sarkari, Assistant Manager, National Events, was dedicated to the upcoming India International Jewellery Show (IIJS). Mr. Malcom Sarkari urged retailers of Vadodara to explore possibilities and attend IIJS.
